the story ;;
severin loved lucretia ever since he had laid eyes on her at hogwarts. he may not have met her in a muggle park, but he really was taken with her. the slytherin went out of his way to be charming to the gryffindor girl, and she took notice. the two became fast friends and thick as thieves.
indigo black was a rude, ignorant, loud mouth who only seemed to care about his friends and quidditch. he was nasty to severin for no reason, telling severin he would mock him as long as he lived because "i shouldn't have to share my air space with a snape".
lucretia slapped him hard across the face for that one. "leave him alone!"
"it's okay, lucretia, he's just an idiot. he can't think of witty repertoire like us."
lucretia laughed. "you're a loser, black, get over yourself."
severin smirked. "yeah, get over yourself."
"severin, come on!"
"what does she even see in that greasy haired git?"
"who knows?" responded one of indigo's friends.
however, it seemed severin wasn't the only one that could be charming. he got into spats with severin, but only when lucretia wasn't around. lucretia took notice that he was a kind gentleman when he put his mind to it, and she had always found him attractive despite the fact he had been cruel to severin.
much to severin's abject horror the pair started dating at the end of their fifth year, and they were engaged in their sixth year. he couldn't believe it. his heart literally felt as if it were breaking in his chest.
how could she choose him?
the final outcome ;;
- lucretia and indigo are finals.
- severin has grown bitter to the idea of love. he only ever wanted to love lucretia, why should he waste his time on any other girl?
- because of lucretia's choice to ditch him and date indigo, it's clouted his judgment and it was part of the reason he was so nasty regarding his sister's romance with indigo's beloved cousin.
- severin doesn't know if he'll ever find love because what's the point of loving anyone, if she's not lucretia?
