concerning ;;
garrick ollivander
ulysseus scabior
marcus ollivander
voldemort
the story ;;
tom didn't like ollivander. he didn't trust garrick as far as he could throw him, which probably was far considering the man's lithe frame. he didn't know exactly what he was doing for the order, but he knew that there was something going on. he didn't want anyone to think that was going to be tolerated.
he went to scabior and demanded of him to keep ollivander locked away somewhere in his estate.
"but my lord, what will we do if he escapes?"
"if he escapes then you die," voldemort hissed, eyes flashing. "can i trust an idiot like you not to foul this up?"
"of course, my lord." scabior shortly bowed. "but what about his son? if he comes sniffing around."
"kill him, that's what you have a wand for, no? use your brain, scabior, before i kill you simply out of spite."
tom stormed off, cloak swirling behind him in the dismal rain that always seemed to fall nowadays.
scabior had to make garrick disappear in a way that wasn't obvious. he managed to use cloaking devices and took the man unawares when he was in the middle of making someone's wand. he wasn't an easy man to take down, old as he was, he still had some fight in him. however, once subdued scabior did as the dark lord required of him.
he chained ollivander in chains thick enough to hold even a beast like greyback once he'd been transformed. there could be no mistakes, ollivander couldn't escape. in addition to this, scabior had his wife and children put up wards around the man so he couldn't escape.
garrick smiled sadly. "this is over kill, don't you think? i'm an old man, what makes you think i'll break these chains?"
"i can't take any chances, you make wands. maybe you know wandless magic or something."
"well, maybe you're not as stupid as you look, but no, i don't have that lucky ability."
"like you'd tell us if you did. shut up."
"silencio!"
garrick glared defiantly. they may have taken him, but they weren't going to kill him.
the final outcome ;;
- ollivander is still chained and warded in scabior's basement.
- marcus is looking for his father, for any clue or trace that might lead him to garrick. he has a gut feeling that his father's still alive.
- voldemort has heard of marcus's poking around, and isn't pleased that scabior's failed to do anything about it yet.
